Spring 2023 scholarship winners announced

Congratulations to our three Spring 2023 scholarship winners!

Allison (Georgia)

Kameron (South Carolina)

Terry (North Carolina)

Allison's creative piece showcased a beautiful painting of her childhood home. Allison's entry shared how hard she's working to reestablish a stable foundation for herself and her brother after losing her mother and father.

While Kameron waits for acceptance letters from several universities to pursue a career as a nurse, Kameron's essay outlined the emotional and financial challenges she and her three siblings faced after her mother's passing.

Terry is wrapping up his senior year of undergrad and has dedicated time to giving back through his ministry work to ensure grieving young people feel less alone. Being there for others is something Terry says his father would have been incredibly proud of.

All three students receive a $1,500 scholarship, a Stella plant, and will be onboarded to our pen-friend program in 2023.
